My review scores tend to be considered “harsh” – but take that with a grain of salt. Most game reviews tend to fall in the 60-95% category, even if the game is awful. By contrast, a poor movie would more often than not get less than 30% if everybody thought it was awful – so why can’t games be like that? If a game is rating 70% thats above normal and should be considered pretty awesome, but to have that as the average like most mainstream gaming review sites do? That just defeats the purpose.
