First off, thanks for taking the time to respond to this American :)

Secondly, I wasn't expecting the next Gears or UT4, the only reason they were mentioned because of the engined licensed, and figures I've read at how expensive it is to license Epic's engines!

I took you up on the target audience being casual gamers/'girlfriends of hardcore gamers' , and my wife installed it and begun playing. Her views were mostly the same that in that peeing and buttslams were not the pinnacle of gaming, however, she did enjoy trying to get 100% dark in the game.

Unfortunately, after level two she asked "do you do anything else in the game, or is this it?" and quit shortly after level three glitched by not allowing the final kid/matchstick to be turned to dark, and she's now uninstalled it.

actually, i am reading this - and you don't have to be sorry. you question who grimm is designed for, but if you're awaiting the next gears or ut4 then grimm is certainly NOT designed for you. if you read the positive reviews (there are quite a few) then you'll see the core audience is casual game players and (funny enough) the girlfriends of hardcore gamers - speaking of, did you try grimm on your girlfriend? might work! take care, -a
