Her sister didn't want to see it because of the anti-christian themes that were apparent in the book, although completely removed in the movie (thanks to the heavily religious US demographic). I'll probably take a look at the trilogy, so long as the other two movies don't come out before then. Another film like that and I could never take the books seriously! Highly recommended (unless you're overtly Christian and are easily offended).
